🔼 Game Day To Remember. Josiah McLaurin’s father, Robert “Todd” McLaurin, and cousin, Kirk, were killed in an automobile accident in New York on Aug. 24. 

Exactly one week later, the Maryland football freshman running back made his collegiate debut in the fourth quarter of its 50-7 win over UConn at SECU Stadium. What happened next at the 9:26 mark was something McLaurin will never forget. 

🔼 Looking Ahead. Maryland football head coach Michael Locksley met with the media on Tuesday to recap the Terps’ 50-7 win over UConn and look ahead to this Saturday’s Big Ten opener at home against Michigan State!

Felton tied a career-high with seven catches for a career-high 178 receiving yards, with touchdown receptions of 18 and 75 yards.

🔼 Perfect Punting. Maryland punter Bryce McFerson was excellent in his Maryland debut, downing five of his six punts inside the 20-yard line — he has been named among the Ray Guy Award Ray’s 8 of the Week, given to the nation’s top eight punters of the week!
