πΌ Fast & First. Maryland cross country dominated its first meet of the season on Saturday, taking first, second and third individually on its way to a team win at the Salisbury Fall Classic.
Rose Coats crossed the finish line first, followed by Eva Rogers and Katie Turk in second and third, respectively.

πΌ Hot Start. No. 4 Maryland field hockey passed a test in its season opener on Friday, winning in double-overtime against No. 7 Louisville.
After both scoring a goal in the second period, the score remained tied until Hope Rose found the net with just 1:18 remaining in the second overtime to give the Terps the top-10 win.
Maryland finished off opening weekend by picking up a 2-0 win over Drexel on Sunday.

πΌ Find The Net. Maryland menβs soccer picked up a lopsided win and a rivalry draw over the long weekend, taking down Detroit 5-2 on Friday before tallying a 1-1 draw against Virginia on Monday evening.
William Kulvik scored twice against Detroit and was joined in the goal-scorer column by Luke Van Heukelum, Albi Ndrenika and Matias de Jesus.
Leon Koehl scored the equalizer on Monday against the Cavaliers, a penalty kick in the 42nd minute.
πΌ Served Up. Maryland volleyball got its season underway in Louisiana this past weekend in a trio of competitive matches at the LSU Tournament in Baton Rouge.
The Terps picked up a season-opening win against Troy on Friday, before falling to LSU and New Hampshire to close out the tournament.

πΌ Freshman Firepower. Maryland womenβs soccer fell 3-2 to George Mason on Sunday, pushing its record to 2-2-2 through six matches this season.
The Terps were led by a pair of freshman on offense β Taryn Raibon scored her first career goal on the first career assist from Emily Lenhard, while senior defender Katie Coyle notched her first goal of the season later in the contest.
