🔼 Move-In Day! The unveiling of the Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center celebrates the opening of a state-of-the-art facility for our nationally prominent basketball programs!

The student-athletes saw their new home for the first time in early September. The Terps are made to feel welcome in their new surroundings and aware of all of the elements to help them flourish in their basketball careers in College Park.

🔼 Road Trip. Maryland women’s soccer hits the road today, traveling to the commonwealth of Virginia to take on James Madison at 6 p.m. at Sentara Park.

The Terps and Dukes met up last season, a match that ended in a 1-1 draw at Ludwig Field.

🔼 B1G Honor. Maryland field hockey’s Jordyn Hollamon has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week!

Hollamon, who receives her first conference honor, scored her first two career goals against Villanova. She tied for first on the team in points (5) this weekend, with two goals and her first career assist.

🔼 Top Terp. After throwing for 258 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in his collegiate debut, Terrapin quarterback Malik Washington has been named Solomon Eye Terp of Week!

🔼 Terps in the NFL. The dawn of a new NFL season is upon us and the sun is rising on nearly two dozen Pro Terps who are ready for the spotlight in 2025!

A total of 32 former Maryland football players - six rookies and an abundance of vets - have spent the offseason preparing to make NFL rosters and compete on Sundays.
