🔼 Conference Acclaim. Maryland quarterback Malik Washington and linebacker Daniel Wingate have been honored by the Big Ten following the Terps’ 27-10 win at Wisconsin last weekend!

Washington was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week, while Wingate earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.

🔼 Kickin’ It. Maryland football’s Big Ten home opener on Saturday, Oct. 4 against Washington will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network!

🔼 B1G Stage. Maryland men’s soccer gets the prime time treatment today, traveling to Penn State to play the Nittany Lions at 8 p.m. on Big Ten Network!

🔼 Final Round. Maryland women’s golf finished play at the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Golf Course on Monday, finishing in fourth place as a team at 17-over par.

Surapa Janthamunee led the Terps at 3-under, finishing second individually.

🔼 Fabulous Freshman. Maryland field hockey’s Jordyn Hollamon has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week!

Hollamon, who receives her second conference honor of the season, helped No. 10 Maryland secure its first B1G Conference win over No. 16 Penn State, 3-1. She led the team in points (3), with a goal off a penalty corner in the 36th minute and an assist.
