🔼 Fun With Numbers. Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. broke several career-bests, wide receiver Tai Felton became the first Terp to ever record 100-yard games in each of the first four games of the season, and the Maryland defense made more big plays!

🔼 Big Ten Boost. No. 7 Maryland field hockey opened up Big Ten play over the weekend with a big 3-2 win at home over No. 13 Rutgers.

Josie Hollamon scored the go-ahead goal on a penalty shot in the 52nd minute, and Kylee Niswonger scored just one minute later to give the Terps some breathing room.

🔼 Non-Con Closed. Maryland volleyball finished up its non-conference schedule in style over the weekend, picking up a pair of wins over Nevada and UCF at the UCF Tournament to improve to 9-2 on the season and push its win streak to eight matches.

The Terps made quick work of Nevada in three sets on Friday, and won a five-set thriller against UCF on Saturday.

🔼 Road Trip Fun. Maryland men’s soccer moved to 2-0 in Big Ten play on Saturday thanks to a 1-0 win over Indiana in Bloomington.

Leon Koehl’s penalty-kick goal in the 40th minute proved to be all the Terps needed against the Hoosiers, with goalkeeper Laurin Mack providing a career-high five saves to stymie any threats.

🔼 Golf At The Goat. Maryland men’s golf finished sixth among a 15-team field at The Goat event at the Naval Academy Golf Course over the weekend, shooting 881 as a team over three rounds.

Freshman Will Gregware led the way for the Terps, shooting even par for the tournament and placing fifth.

🔼 No Score. Maryland women’s soccer fell to Big Ten newcomer Oregon on Sunday, 2-0, at Ludwig Field.

The Terps managed seven corner kicks against the Ducks and produced several goal-scoring opportunities, but couldn’t find the back of the net.
