🔼 On The Road. Big Ten season starts now! Maryland football is on the road to open its conference slate against Wisconsin tomorrow with a noon ET kickoff on NBC. Saturday’s battle marks the fifth time the Terps and Badgers will meet on the gridiron. In the teams’ last three meetings, Maryland has rushed for 100+ yards each time, tied for their second-longest active streak against a conference opponent. Full preview here.

🔼 Tallying The Win. Maryland women’s soccer scored a Big Ten win over Indiana last night! The Terps got goals from Kelsey Smith in the 59th minute and Mckinley Heaven in the 87th minute to secure Maryland’s fifth win of the season. Heaven’s goal, which was the first of her career, also came during her first collegiate start. Next up, Maryland will host Purdue on September 21.

🔼 Keep Rolling. Maryland men’s soccer seeks to keep the momentum going as the Terps host Pitt tonight at Ludwig Field. Maryland is off to a scorching 4-0-1 start this season, most recently coming off a 3-1 win at Wisconsin in the conference opener. Tonight’s game gets underway at 7:00pm ET and will air on the Big Ten Network. You can grab tickets here!

🔼 Conference Opener. It’s time for Big Ten play for the No. 10 Maryland field hockey team! The Terps will host the 16th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions this evening at 5pm ET. Penn State brings a four-game winning streak into the contest, led by freshman forward Josephine Purdy’s seven points, while Maryland went undefeated last weekend at the Terrapin Invitational en route to junior Alyssa Klebasko earning Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors.

🔼 Bump, Set, Spike. The Terps are back in College Park tonight for the team’s final non-conference matchup of the season. Maryland volleyball welcomes Seton Hall to the Stephen M. Schanwald Pavilion at XFINITY Center for a 6:30pm ET battle this evening. Maryland (6-3) is coming off a 1-1 finish at the Wake Forest Tournament last weekend, where Ajack Malual posted back-to-back career highs in kills and became the first Terp since 2019 to record more than 20 kills in a match while hitting over .400.

🔼 Fall Play. Maryland women’s tennis is ready to hit the court this fall, opening the season at home at the Bedford Cup this weekend. The squad will split between the Bedford Cup and the ITA All-Americans Championship in North Carolina. Juniors Aisa Eissa and Katherine Hung will represent Maryland at the Bedford Cup, while Ema Kovacevic, Emma Ghiradato, and Oliwia Orlinska will travel to North Carolina. More details here.

🔼 On The Podium. Former Terp Thea LaFond is coming home with new hardware! LaFond earned a silver medal in the triple jump at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo. The Maryland alum posted a season-best 14.89 meters in the sixth round of the event.
