🔼 Terp To The Hall! Maryland men’s lacrosse great Peter Worstell is headed to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame!
A four-time All-American and All-ACC selection at Maryland from 1977-81, Worstell is the only player in Maryland lacrosse history to earn All-America honors at two different positions, attack and midfield. He was named to the ACC 50th Anniversary Team in 2002.
🔼 Double Dose! No. 7 Maryland field hockey hosts a pair of opponents at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex this weekend, welcoming Towson today at 6 p.m. before Saint Joseph’s comes to town on Sunday for a noon matchup!

🔼 Runnin’ Around! Maryland cross country is ready for its second meet of the season this morning after winning the Delaware Invitational last weekend, running at the Spiked Shoe Invitational hosted by Penn State in State College, Pa.!
🔼 Out West. Maryland women’s soccer opened Big Ten play at No. 11 Washington on Thursday night, falling 2-0 to the Huskies despite five saves from goalkeeper Faith Luckey.
The Terps are back in action this Sunday, playing at Oregon.

🔼 Honoring Heroes! The Maryland women’s lacrosse team is set to run the steps at SECU Stadium to honor the legacies of the fallen heroes on the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11.
