📈 STOCK UP

🔼 One Speed. Dante Trader Jr. is constantly putting his body on the line for Maryland football. He’s also constantly putting his body on the line for Maryland lacrosse.

The junior from Delmar, Delaware has one of the most physically demanding jobs in college sports.

🔼 Another Sign It’s Game Week. Talking Terps is back!

Each week during the 2023 football season, Maryland football fans can catch up with head coach Michael Locksley at ‘Talking Terps with Coach Locks presented by Window Nation’ from the new GrillMarx location in College Park.

🔼 Home Away From Rome. Growing up in Italy, Carlotta Oggioni’s world revolved around her family. Every activity she did growing up was with family.

Volleyball led her to the United States, where she eventually found her way to College Park as a member of the Maryland volleyball team. The Terps quickly became a family to Oggioni, too.

🔼 On The Road Again. Maryland women’s soccer heads out on the road again, seeking its first win of the season at VCU this evening.

The Terps and Rams have met just once, a 2-1 win for Maryland back in 2002. VCU is currently 1-2-1, with a 5-0 win over UNC Wilmington under its belt.

🚗 ON YOUR WAY TO KICKOFF

Don’t Make A Wrong Turn. Do you know which campus entrance you’re using this weekend as you head to Maryland football’s season opener against Towson?

Due to ongoing Purple Line construction, parking pass holders will now need to access campus via the entrance specific to their parking pass.

🐢 ONE BIG THING

Fight 4 ALS. When Maryland field hockey takes the field on Friday against Duke in the B1G/ACC Challenge, the competition will be about more than wins and losses.

This year’s Challenge is highlighted by a Fight4ALS Campaign, put in place thanks to head coach Missy Meharg’s close ties with Peggy Engleka, a former USA field hockey player whose husband, Matt, is battling advanced ALS.
