🔼 All Even. Maryland women’s soccer opened its home slate on Sunday, playing Stony Brook to a 2-2 draw to move to 1-0-1 on the season.

Kelsey Smith scored right away for the Terps, finding the back of the net in just the second minute of action to give Maryland an early lead. Lisa McIntyre scored the Terps’ other goal, a low-right shot in the 40th minute.

We’ve got 12 days left until Maryland football is back on the field for its season opener against UConn!

Dante Trader Jr. has worn the No. 12 well for the Terps in his time on campus, and enters his senior season as one of the best defensive backs in the Big Ten!

Trader Jr. was a preseason All-Big Ten pick by both Athlon Sports and Phil Steele, and was named to the 2024 Wuerffel Trophy Watch List as well.

🔼 In The Game. “College Football 25” was released on July 19, marking EA Sports’ return to making a college football video game and Maryland football student-athletes are enjoying seeing and playing as themselves in the game!
