🔼 Mindfulness & Meditation. Maryland football head coach Mike Locksley has always emphasized the importance of mental health within his program.

This summer, that has meant recovery days with a specific emphasis on mindfulness and meditation.

🔼 Opening Draw. The Maryland women’s soccer team opened its season with a 0-0 draw in Washington, D.C. against American on Thursday.

It was a defensive battle throughout, with both teams managing just three shots on goal. Liz Beardsley registered two saves in her first start for the Terps.

Maryland is back in action this Sunday, traveling to Gainesville, Fla. to take on the Gators.

🔼 Getting Better. Maryland football has 15 more days until it kicks off the 2023 season against Towson at SECU Stadium on Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The Terps are embracing each one of those days.
