🔼 Etched In Hardwood. Maryland men’s basketball assistant coach Mike Jones had quite the honor over the weekend — the basketball court at DeMatha Catholic, where he spent 19 years as the head coach, has been named after him!

Jones compiled a 511-119 record at DeMatha, including a 2006 national title.

Maryland football enjoyed the annual Crab Feast over the weekend.

🔼 Terps vs. Wildcats. Maryland’s opening round matchup of the Asheville Championship Tournament is set!

The Terps will take on Davidson on Nov. 10 at 7 PM, with the game televised on ESPNU. The consolation and championship games of the tournament will be on Nov. 12 at 12:30 PM and 3 PM, respectively.

🔼 Another One. Preseason praise continues to be heaped on Jaishawn Barham!

Barham is one of just five underclassmen on the list.
