🔼 Hyp, Hyp, Hooray! Maryland linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II has been named to the 2024 Butkus Award preseason watch list!

Hyppolite II is entering his fifth season at Maryland, and was a third-team All-Big Ten selection last year. The Fort Lauderdale native has 170 total tackles in his career.

🔼 Watch Out. Soccer season is officially here, and the Big Ten has announced its preseason women’s soccer players to watch — Maryland is represented on the list by Liz Beardsley, Kennedy Bell and Lauren Wrigley!

🔼 One More. Premier League Lacrosse finished up the penultimate weekend of the regular season in Denver last week, with several Terps making a huge impact on the field.

The league heads to Salt Lake City this coming weekend to close out the regular season.

We’ve got 17 days left until Maryland football is back on the field for its season opener against UConn!

Lionell Whitaker will wear No. 17 for the Terp defense this season after appearing in 11 games last season, including a start in the Music City Bowl against Auburn!

The second annual Maryland Women’s Soccer Cornhole Tournament and Fundraiser is scheduled for Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m. ahead of the Terps’ home match against James Madison! Join the team for an afternoon of food and games, and for a chance to win prizes including a suite at the Maryland football game against Rutgers, tickets to the men’s basketball game against Marquette and a $250 date night in D.C.

🔼 All For One. Now in her third season, coach Meg Nemzer expects Maryland women’s soccer to compete at the highest level in 2024.

Her first two seasons were about building a sustainable, positive culture. Now, with that foundation built, the program is ready to make its mark.
