๐Ÿ”ผ Ray of Sunshine. Maryland running back Nolan Ray has been named a preseason candidate for the 2025 Doak Walker Award!

Ray played in all 12 games for the Terps in 2024, rushing for 374 yards on 75 attempts and averaging nearly 5.0 yards per carry. He scored a pair of touchdowns and also hauled in 11 receptions for 76 receiving yards.

Ty Johnson, who wore No. 24 for the Terps, rushed for 2,635 yards during his time at Maryland and scored 19 total touchdowns โ€” 17 on the ground and two more through the air.
