🔼 Top Terp. Maryland women’s soccer’s Kelsey Smith has been named the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week!

Smith opened the season in style, netting the Terps' first goal of the year against Lehigh on Thursday evening. The redshirt junior struck unassisted in the 20th minute, cutting across the middle and weaving through defenders for her first goal of the season. She followed up with a standout performance on Sunday, scoring twice and adding an assist in Maryland's commanding 5–0 shutout of Saint Francis. Smith finished the match with three shots, two goals, two shots on goal, and one assist to cap off an impressive opening week.

Ruben Hyppolite II, who totaled 236 tackles during his Maryland career, wore No. 11 for the first four seasons of his collegiate career before switching to No. 4 for his final campaign. Hyppolite II was a fourth-round pick of the Chicago Bears in this year’s NFL Draft.
