🔼 Gold Medal Terps. Five former men’s lacrosse Terps are world champions!

Jesse Bernhardt, Michael Ehrhardt, Matt Dunn, Connor Kelly and Matt Rambo, playing for the Red, White & Blue, took down Canada in the gold medal game at the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships.

🔼 Alyssa The All Star. For the fourth time in her illustrious career, Maryland alum Alyssa Thomas is a WNBA All Star!

Thomas is putting together quite the resume during her professional career, as she is also a four-time WNBA All-Defensive Team member, and earlier this season became the WNBA’s career triple-doubles leader for the regular season (5) and regular season and playoffs combine (7).

🔼 Righting The Ship. After guiding the team to a 5-6 record in his first year under center in 2005, Sam Hollenbach and the Terps turned things around in 2006, winning nine games, including the Champs Sports Bowl against Purdue.

Hollenbach threw for over 5,000 yards and 28 touchdowns in his Maryland career, completing 61 percent of his 679 pass attempts from 2004-2006.
