🔼 Ready To Hoop. Maryland women’s basketball alum Alyssa Thomas and Team USA kick off Olympic pool play today against Japan at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock!

Thomas is making her Olympic debut with Team USA, which has won the past seven gold medals.

🔼 Four Go-Arounds. Sarunas Jasikevisius is one of the best Lithuanian and European guards of all time, making four Olympic Games appearances over his storied career.

Back in his collegiate days, he scored 7.7 points per game over 120 career games for Gary Williams and the Terps from 1994-98!

Chris Turner was Maryland’s signal caller from 2007-09, and scored 33 total touchdowns over those three seasons — 30 through the air and three on the ground!

Turner’s 6,543 career passing yards are the third-most in program history, as are his 547 career completions.
