Baseball America named Hacopian to its Freshman All-America Second Team this week, which now makes three Freshman All-America honors for the Terps’ third baseman.

🔼 Set ‘Em Up. Maryland volleyball fans, allow us to introduce Duru Gökçen!

Gökçen is the latest addition to the Terps’ 2024 roster, joining Lilly Wagner and Katherine Scherer as newcomers for the upcoming season.

We’ve got 51 days left until Maryland football is back on the field for its season opener against UConn!

Bob Ward did it all at Maryland in the early 1950s, culminating in a First-Team All-America nod at offensive guard after the 1951 season.

Weighing all of 165 pounds throughout his playing career, Ward was also an All-American along the defensive line, the only player to ever earn All-American status on both sides of the ball. He was inducted into the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame in 1980.

🔼 Seizing The Opportunity. Kyle Convissar got a phone call from then-Maryland head baseball coach Erik Bakich one minute after the recruiting period started back in 2009.

Bakich was calling with a scholarship offer, which Convissar accepted soon after. From 2011-14, he collected 155 hits, 86 RBI and 88 runs in 181 career games.
