📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Helping Hands. Maryland men's basketball head coach Buzz Williams has officially announced several additions to his coaching staff — Josh Chambers (Director of Process) , TJ Ryan (Director of Basketball Strategy and Analytics), Eddie Benson (Program Director for Basketball Sports Medicine) and Steve Gephardt (Director of Strength and Resilience)!

🔼 Family Bond. The Maryland football program aims to make football gamedays in College Park a family tradition with the announcement of our new "Little Terps, Big Cheers" offer.

When fans purchase one adult ticket in Section 212, the designated Family Section, you can claim up to two complimentary tickets for kids 13 and under — because building the next generation of Terp fans starts now!

🔼 Meet Mir! Maryland women’s basketball’s Mir McLean is the latest guest on Meet the Terps!

Keep Your Shell Well: Preventing Injury in Youth Sports

In this special edition of “Keep Your Shell Well,” Holly Frantz, Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Terps, talks about ways to prevent sports injuries in young athletes. Two of her tips are:

  • Ensure they maintain a healthy level of activity throughout the year.

  • Encourage them to participate in a variety of sports, not just one.

⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

Countdown to Kickoff. We have 52 days until Maryland football is back on the field inside SECU Stadium for its season opener against Florida Atlantic!

Jack Scarbath’s fantastic Maryland career culminated with an All-American season in 1952, ending his time as a Terp with a 24-4-1 record under head coach Jim Tatum. Scarbath finished runner-up in Heisman Trophy voting in 1952, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame in 1984.

🐢 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Studying Law. Becoming a lawyer takes discipline, resilience and a strong sense of purpose – all traits that Hannah Warther (‘21) developed as a five-year Maryland women’s lacrosse player and two-time national champion.

The 2025 M Club Rodman Postgraduate Scholarship awardee continues to surge towards her professional goal of becoming a lawyer, having just finished her first year at New York Law School. She is on track to graduate with a Juris Doctor in 2027.
