The 1953 Maryland football team finished 10-1 in its first season as members of the ACC, earning national championship recognition from both the Associated Press and UPI!

🔼 Enforcing The Law. Rising redshirt junior Mia Mitchell from Maryland women’s soccer is gaining firsthand experience in the field of law enforcement through Maryland Made’s InTERPship Academy.
The academy helps student-athletes at the University of Maryland gain experience and build connections in their desired field of work. The summer session, which runs from June 2 to July 25, has 37 student-athletes interning across the country.
Mitchell is a criminal justice major and serves as an intern for the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in Lancaster, South Carolina. She detailed her experience in a Q&A with Maryland Athletics!
