We have 50 days until Maryland football is back on the field inside SECU Stadium for its season opener against Hampton!
Trevor Szymanski, who wears No. 50 for the Terps, saw action in 11 of 12 games last year during his redshirt freshman season.

🔼 Raising The Bar. A Maryland Athletics-record 501 letterwinners across 23 sports gave back philanthropically to Maryland Athletics through the Terrapin Club in 2025-26 and more than 600 came back to campus for a variety of celebrations, reunions and events throughout the year.
The record philanthropic support from letterwinners in 2025-26 represents a 13% year-over-year increase from 2024-25 and includes an all-time high in letterwinner donors from the following sports: Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, and Men's Soccer.
🔼 Welcome To The Fam. Head coach Alex Clemsen has announced the newcomers to his program ahead of the 2026-27 wrestling season.
Eight freshmen and five transfers make up the 13 new faces that will join Clemsen's program for his eighth year at the helm of Maryland wrestling.

This week, Maryland men's basketball head coach Buzz Williams announced this year's "Buzz's Bunch" event in College Park will be held on Saturday, August 1.
Held each year on the first Saturday of August, the annual Buzz's Bunch camp is dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive experience for local children with special needs. Hosted inside the XFINITY Center, the camp opens the door to new friendships, unforgettable memories, and the powerful impact of connection through the sport of basketball!

🔼 Perseverance, Perspective, And People. With the Terps leading Florida Atlantic 39-7 in their season opener, what looked like a routine play left true freshman Jaylen Gilchrist down in the backfield in considerable pain.
“My heart dropped,” teammate Isaiah Wright said. “The whole stadium went quiet. You never want to see your teammate go through anything like that, because what he went through was something heavy.”
Gilchrist left SECU stadium in a wheelchair, removed from the game he loves for the remainder of the 2025 season. The road back to 2026 was just beginning.
“I’ve been playing football since I was four,” Gilchrist said. “I’ve never been hurt like this before.”
