🔼 Making His Mark. As the Maryland track and field program continues to build a solid foundation toward becoming a national name, shot put specialist Jeff Kline will represent the red, white, black and gold at the NCAA Championships today.

His journey to get to this point is one that accelerated throughout his junior year.

🔼 New Staff Member. Brenda Frese’s staff just got bigger, with her announcement of Noelle Cobb as the new Director of Recruiting/Assistant Coach on Tuesday.

Cobb spent the last two years as an assistant at Kennesaw State, and before that spent two years as the director of video and interim assistant coach at the University of Miami.

She played collegiately at Fullerton Junior College for two years before heading to the University of La Verne to finish her career, where she averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game.

🔼 Best Coaches Around. You will get no arguments from us here - Maryland women’s tennis coaches Katie Dougherty and Ruth Seaborne were voted the best in the Atlantic Region on Tuesday.

Dougherty, in her fourth season as head coach of the Terps, was named 2023 Wilson ITA Coach of the Year in the Atlantic Region, while Seaborne was named 2023 ITA Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

Congratulations to both!
