We’ve got 71 days left until Maryland football is back on the field for its season opener against UConn!

Alan Herron will don the No. 71 jersey this season for the Terps. Herron is a transfer from Division II Shorter University, where he started every game of the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was ranked the No. 19 offensive tackle in the transfer portal via On3.

Herron received over 30 scholarship offers, and chose the Terps over Penn State, Clemson, Miami, Aubirn and Syracuse.
