🔼 Playing In Paris. Maryland women’s basketball alum Alyssa Thomas has been named to Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris!

This will be Thomas’ first Olympics, and will be the first Terp on the U.S. women’s basketball team since Vicky Bullett, who won gold and bronze in 1988 and 1992.

When it comes to the No. 82 with Maryland football, one name comes to mind immediately — Torrey Smith, of course!

Smith caught 152 passes during his Maryland career for 2,215 yards and 19 touchdowns from 2008-10, and would go on to a long career in the NFL with over 300 catches, 5,000 yards and two Super Bowls.
