🔼 And The Emmy Goes To! The Broadcast & Production department in Maryland Athletics won three Capital Emmy Awards as announced by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter on Saturday at the 68th Annual Awards ceremony on June 20!

🔼 Job Interview! Maryland baseball’s Brayden Martin has been invited to the 2026 MLB Draft Combine, which will be held June 23-26 at Chase Field in Phoenix!

A total of 61 people joined the Next Gen Terps program over the past 11 months and collectively contributed more than $15,000 to Maryland Athletics’ Impact Fund. This year the funds from Next Gen Terps will go toward facility enhancements for the Kehoe Track & Field Complex as Maryland continues to attract and develop world-class talent, including incoming Olympic gold medalist Quincy Wilson.
The Next Gen Terps program, launched in July 2025, is designed for recent graduates and early-to-mid-career professionals who are interested in strengthening their engagement with Maryland Athletics through philanthropy, community and connection. Membership is $30/month or $300/year.
🔼 Talkin’ Terps! Maryland football center Michael Hershey, quarterback Malik Washington and linebacker Daniel Wingate will represent the Terps at Big Ten Football Media Days on Thursday, July 30 in Chicago!
