🔼 Preseason Praise! The preseason accolades have started for Maryland football’s Daniel Wingate — the Terp linebacker has been tabbed Preseason First Team All-Big Ten by Athlon Sports!
🔼 New Tennis Terp! Maryland women’s tennis has announced the signing of freshman Anastasiia Sorska for the 2026-27 season!
Sorska has an ITF juniors career-high ranking of No. 194, winning three singles and two doubles titles, and currently has a UTR ranking of 9.94. Sorska will make her collegiate debut in the fall 2026 season for Maryland.
🔼 On The Ballot! Former Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen, the 2001 consensus National Coach of the Year and two-time ACC Coach of the Year, has been named to the ballot for the 2027 National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame!
