🔼 Winners Only. It’s a winner’s bracket showdown at the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday - Maryland baseball takes on Nebraska at 7:00pm ET after the Cornhuskers defeated Rutgers on Wednesday.

The Terps hosted the Huskers earlier this month, taking two-of-three and outscoring Nebraska 38-21 over the three-game series.

Nebraska used a six-run seventh inning to move past Rutgers on Wednesday, but were outhit by the Scarlet Knights 9-7. Gabe Swansen and Charlie Fischer both drove in three for the Huskers.

Maryland is in the winner’s bracket by way of a 3-2 win over Michigan State in its Big Ten Tournament opener.

🔼 Philly Philly. Maryland men’s basketball’s schedule just came a bit more into focus - The Gavitt Games announced on Wednesday that the Terps will travel to Philadelphia on Nov. 17 to take on Villanova.

Maryland is 3-0 all-time in the Gavitt Games, with two wins over Georgetown and one over Butler. The Terps are 1-4 all-time against Villanova.

🔼 Viva Italia. Maryland volleyball is studying abroad this spring!

The program has announced it will travel to Europe on a 12-day training tour, taking in the sites of Italy, Croatia and Slovenia while there.

The Terps will tour several historic cities, like Maribor and Ljubljana, Slovenia, Istris and Rovinj, Croatia, as well as Lake Como, Milan and Venice, Italy.

🔼 Great Shot. With a monster throw of 18.84m at the NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary meet, Jeff Kline punched his ticket to throw the shot put at the NCAA Championships.

Kline owns a PR of 19.11m in the event, and will look to best that mark in Austin, Texas in June.

Maryland baseball got a win under its belt against Michigan State at the Big Ten Tournament on Tuesday. Instead of the usual 15-run outburst, the Terps got it done with pitching and defense. As always, Maryland Athletics was there to capture it all with cameras.
