🔼 Finally, The Final Four. The wait is almost over! No. 7 seed Maryland men’s lacrosse is back on the field tomorrow against No. 6 seed Virginia in an NCAA Semifinal matchup at 2:30 p.m. in Philadelphia!
Both the Terps and Cavaliers are coming off come-from-behind victories in the quarterfinal round, Maryland against No. 2 seed Duke and Virginia against No. 3 seed Johns Hopkins.
🔼 Best Of The Best. Maryland men’s lacrosse’s Ajax Zappitello will have a shiny new name tag when he takes the field tomorrow — the senior garnered the Lt. Raymond J. Enners Outstanding Player of the Year award on Thursday!
On top of Zappitello’s honor, Luke Wierman and Eric Spanos earned All-American recognition.
🔼 Not One, Not Two... But THREE Maryland women’s lacrosse student-athletes have earned IWLCA All-American honors, as announced on Thursday — Meghan Ball was named to the First Team, while Eloise Clevenger and Emily Sterling were named Third-Team members.

🔼 The Results Are In. The final ITA women’s tennis rankings have been released, and the Terps have their highest ranking since the 2011 season!
Maryland finished the season at No. 50 in the rankings, thanks to a 16-10 overall record and 12-1 mark at home.
🔼 Spot Secured. Kayla Thorpe is headed to Eugene, Oregon!
Thorpe qualified for the NCAA Championships with a javelin toss of 51.95m on Thursday, good for a sixth-place finish at the NCAA East Preliminaries.
The throw comes with some history attached, too — Thorpe becomes the first female javelin thrower in school history to qualify for the NCAA Championships!
