🔼 One To Go. Maryland baseball has one more conference series left before the Big Ten Tournament, and is currently tied for first place with Indiana. Here is where things stand at the top of the Big Ten standings, with each team’s remaining conference matchup:

(T-1) Maryland: 15-6, at Penn State

(T-1) Indiana: 15-6, at Michigan State

(3) Iowa: 13-7, at Northwestern

(T-4) Rutgers: 13-8, at Minnesota

(T-4) Nebraska: 13-8, at Purdue

(T-4) Michigan: 13-8, at Ohio State

🔼 Strong Showing. Several Terps broke personal records at the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. A few highlights:

🔨 Luke Tobia: 59.53m in the hammer throw, moving into second place on the all-time Maryland list in the event

💿 Kayla Thorpe: broke her own school record in the javelin (48.38m), finishing sixth in the event

🏃 Seventh-place finishes in the men’s 4×100, Michaela Bracken in the women’s 400m hurdles, Eric Albright in the men’s 800m and women’s 4×400m

The 2023 symposium looked to build on the legacy and momentum of the Social Justice Alliance by exploring the intersections of social justice and athletics.
