🔼 A Daughter And Father. A father’s love never goes away. Just ask Maryland women’s lacrosse standout Abby Bosco, who lost her father when she was just two years old on September 11, 2001.
Maryland and Army have been playing each other since 1924, although the two programs did not match up this season. The Terps own a 20-19 series advantage overall.
The Black Knights are 12-3 overall this season, with a win over Loyola in the Patriot League championship game to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
🔼 Dragon Slayers. Maryland women’s lacrosse is in Harrisonburg, Va., to take on the Drexel Dragons this evening at 5:00pm ET in the NCAA Tournament opening round.
The two programs played earlier in the year in Philadelphia, with the Terps winning 15-9. Maryland had a 7-1 lead after one quarter in that one, and never looked back.
The winner of the Maryland-Drexel matchup will take on the winner of James Madison-Army on Sunday.
🔼 Critical Critter Matchup. Maryland baseball gets to play host one last time this weekend, welcoming in Minnesota for a three-game series.
The Terps are on quite a run in the Big Ten, having won 21 consecutive conference series and currently find themselves on the inside track to the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
Minnesota is 14-31 on the year, but has played better in Big Ten action at 7-11 in conference. The Gophers took two-of-three at home against Michigan last weekend.

Fun Run. Luke Shliger spends a lot of time around home plate. Much of that time is spent behind it as Maryland’s catcher. He also touches home a lot, leading Maryland in runs scored this season.
