📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Transfer Terps. As if we weren’t already excited enough about the Terps getting back on the hardwood, Kevin Willard just announced a pair of transfer additions for the upcoming season.

Indiana transfer Jordan Geronimo and Loyola Marymount transfer Chance Stephens are the newest Terps, joining an absolutely loaded 2023-24 roster. Geronimo adds another veteran Big Ten presence to the lineup, while Stephens provides another sharp-shooting threat for the Terps.

🔼 Within Reach. Maryland women’s golf held steady in fourth place at the Athens, Georgia NCAA Regional yesterday, shooting a 6-over 294 as a team.

Angela Garvin again led the way for Maryland, shooting an even-par 72 to move up two spots to a tie for seventh.

Maryland, in fourth place, sits two shots clear of Augusta, Ohio State and Ole Miss, which are all tied for the fifth and final advancement spot.

🔼 Win Or Go Home. It’s simple - win and advance, lose and go home.

No. 8 seed Maryland softball opens up the single-elimination Big Ten Tournament today against No. 9 seed Iowa at Eichelberger Field in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

The Terps took two-of-three against the Hawkeyes in Iowa City in mid-April on the backs of the pitching staff, only allowing four runs over the three-game series.

🔼 Tough One. Northeastern got the best of Maryland in Tuesday evening’s midweek matchup in College Park, taking a 9-2 win back with it to Boston.

Ian Petrutz was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Terps. Luke Shliger was 1-for-3 with the other RBI for Maryland out of the leadoff spot, and added a pair of walks.

Maryland is back in action this weekend at home against Minnesota.
