🔼 Still Really Hot. You can’t stop them, you can only hope to contain them. And even then, good luck. Maryland baseball just keeps on rolling, winning its 20th consecutive Big Ten series with a sweep of Indiana.
The Dirty Terps outscored Indiana 43-11 over the three-game series, continuing their offensive dominance over the past two weeks. Matt Shaw had eight hits over the weekend, including a home run in each game, to continue his ridiculous stretch.

🔼 Dreams Come True. Five Terps heard their names called in this weekend’s NFL Draft, living out a lifelong dream.
Round 1, No. 24 Overall: Deonte Banks, CB, New York Giants
Round 4, 104 Overall: Jakorian Bennett, DB, Las Vegas Raiders
Round 4, 112 Overall: Chad Ryland, K, New England Patriots
Round 6, 186 Overall: Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Tennessee Titans
Round 7, 251 Overall: Spencer Anderson, G, Pittsburgh Steelers

🔼 Spring Cleaned. Coach Mike Locksley gave fans their first look at the 2023 Maryland football team at the annual Red-White Spring Game, but a familiar face was yet again the story - Taulia Tagovailoa completed 16-of-24 passes for 210 yards and led the Red team to a 20-19 victory.
Billy Edwards Jr. led the White team, going 13-of-22 for 224 yards and two scores. He was joined by Antwain Littleton on the White team, who eclipsed the 100-yard mark.
Tyrese Chambers was named the Frank Reich Spring Game MVP for scoring a pair of touchdowns for the Red team.

🔼 Onto The Semis. The two-seed Maryland women’s lacrosse team took care of business against seven-seed Ohio State over the weekend, winning 11-7 over the Buckeyes to move onto the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
Libby May led the way, scoring four goals, including her 50th of the year. Kori Edmondson and Kate Sites both scored two goals.
The Terps advance to the semifinals of the tournament, taking on six-seed Rutgers on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio.

🔼 Final Four. Maryland men’s lacrosse won its fifth Big Ten Tournament game in a row on Saturday, taking down Rutgers 14-11 to advance to the semifinal round.
Daniel Kelly was huge for the Terps, scoring four goals and assisting on another. Speaking of assists, Braden Erksa handed out six of them, the most by a Terp since 2021.
The win against Rutgers sets up a rematch against Johns Hopkins, with a trip to the Big Ten Championship on the line.
