🔼 Seat At The Table. Maryland interim Barry P. Gossett Director of Athletics Colleen Sorem has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Women's College Basketball Committee, the NCAA announced Monday!

🔼 One Round Down. Maryland women’s golfer Nicha Kanpai is through 18 holes at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional, sitting in a tie for seventh place at 1-under. Kanpai posted the lowest score of the six individuals competing on Monday.

🔼 Top Terp. Maryland baseball’s Chris Hacopian has been named the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week after finishing last week with a .632 batting average, going 12-for-19 with a double, two home runs and five RBI!
Under Armour has produced limited edition merchandise available exclusively for new members of the One Maryland Collective. The merchandise features a vintage logo that will be exclusive to Under Armour.
The “Terrapin Throwback” initiative was inspired by Coach Locksley, who last year started wearing one-of-a-kind hoodies featuring vintage marks. The unique hoodies were quickly noticed on social media and message boards, and demand quickly mounted.
🔼 Looking Back. Maryland Athletics has 13 international student-athletes graduating during the 2025 spring and summer sessions.
Many of the international student-athletes came to Maryland and attended school in the United States for the first time. They’ve overcome challenges in adjusting to life in the U.S. and have still succeeded in the classroom and their respective sports.
Several responded to the following questions, reflecting on their experiences and sharing advice.
1. What will you cherish most about your time at Maryland?
2. What advice do you have for future international student-athletes at Maryland?
3. What do you want your teammates or coaches to remember most about you?
4. How have you changed as a person since coming to the U.S.?
