🔼 Playing Host. Maryland women’s lacrosse is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the 35th year in a row!

The Terps will host Fairfield (11-7), the MAAC Champion, on Friday at noon in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. The other side of the region will see Penn (10-6) and Army (13-3) match-up at 3 p.m., on Friday. The winners of each contest will face each other in the second round on Sunday, May 11. All of the games will air on ESPN Plus. 

🔼 More Home Games. Maryland men’s lacrosse has earned its 22nd consecutive bid into the NCAA Tournament, earning the No. 2 overall seed!

The Terps will host the winner of the play-in game between Robert Morris and Air Force on Sunday, May 11 at 2:30 p.m. at SECU Stadium.

🔼 Another Pair. Maryland men’s basketball coach Buzz Williams announced two more additions to the 2025-26 roster over the weekend — Myles Rice joins the Terps after playing last season at Indiana, while Elijah Saunders joins from Virginia!

🔼 Happy Road Trip. Maryland baseball earned a Big Ten series win at Penn State over the weekend, taking two-of-three games from the Nittany Lions in Happy Valley.

The Terps won 7-4 on Friday before winning 12-11 in 11 innings on Saturday to claim the series. Brayden Martin hit a home run in the top of the 11th to give the Terps the winning run.

🔼 Cornhusker Fight. Maryland softball was swept at No. 20 Nebraska over the weekend, managing just three runs over the three-game series against the Huskers.

🔼 Fast Times. Maryland track and field closed out the regular season at home on Friday, hosting the Kehoe Twilight Meet.

A pair of school records fell — Chioma Njoku topped her own record in the women’s hammer throw with a mark of 65.37m, while the women’s 4×100 team of Bryce Hatcher, Victoria Teasley, Jewel Ofotan and Armanie Coleman smashed the previous school record with a time of 45.02 seconds.
