🔼 Great In Goal! Maryland women’s lacrosse goaltender JJ Suriano has been named the IWLCA Goaltender of the Year!
Suriano had a phenomenal season in goal. The junior finished the year 18–4 with 227 total saves, including 16 against No. 13 Syracuse, 13 against No. 12 Virginia, and 13 against No. 7 Johns Hopkins. She led the conference in saves per game (10.32), total saves (227), and save percentage (.510) throughout the season. Suriano also finished the year leading the nation in total saves.
