🔼 Last Call. Maryland baseball closes out its regular season this weekend, hosting Rutgers for a three-game series at the Bob beginning today at 6 p.m.

Heading into the final weekend of Big Ten play, the Terps sit one game out of 12th place in the conference standings, with the top-12 teams qualifying for next week’s Big Ten Tournament in Omaha.

🔼 Final Round. Maryland men’s golfer Emil Riegger finished play at the NCAA Amherst Regional on Wednesday, finishing tied for 14th overall at 1-under.

Riegger picked up 12 birdies and an eagle in the 54 holes.

Before Emil Riegger, when was the last time Maryland men's golf was represented at the NCAA Regionals?

🔼 Meant For The Mat. Like many young kids, Mike Letts had a lot of energy.

"I was just that kid with way too much energy," he said. "I would take a bite of food at the dinner table, get out of my chair, jump up and down and do a lap around the house in between every bite."

Letts channeled that energy towards wrestling, a popular sport in his area. Growing up in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, he understood the importance of the sport to his community in southeastern Pennsylvania.

"Pennsylvania and wrestling are like Texas and football. It's that kind of a deal," he explained.
