🔼 Onto The Next Round. No. 2 seed Maryland men’s lacrosse is moving onto the NCAA Quarterfinals after defeating Air Force, 13-5, in the first round on Sunday at SECU Stadium.
Eric Spanos led the way with a huge game offensively, scoring six goals. Braden Erksa and Zach Whittier both collected three points with a goal and two assists, while Daniel Kelly scored two goals.
Maryland will play Georgetown in the quarterfinals on May 18. The game will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis. It will be streamed on ESPNU.

🔼 Northern Sweep. Maryland baseball played one of its best series of the season over the weekend, sweeping Minnesota in Minneapolis.
The Terps scored 27 runs in three games against the Gophers and hit seven home runs, including six in the first two games of the series. Maryland now has hit 86 home runs this season, the fourth-most in a single-season in program history.

🔼 Last One. No. 6 Maryland women’s lacrosse fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to No. 12 Penn on Sunday, 11-10, in double overtime.
The Terps' first six goals were all scored by different players. Their scorers included Lauren LaPointe (3 goals & 1 assist), Kori Edmondson (2 goals & 1 assist), Jordyn Lipkin (2 goals), Chrissy Thomas, Lexi Dupcak and Devin Livingston.
Maryland finished its season 15-6 overall.
