🔼 Home Sweet Home! Maryland baseball begins a four-game homestand to close out the regular season today, welcoming Georgetown to the Bob at 6 p.m.

The Terps traveled to play at Georgetown two weeks ago, winning 11-2. Paul Jones II homered and drove in three runs in the win.

🔼 Hitting The Rankings! Following the conclusion of Week 12, D1Baseball recognized three Maryland Terrapins among the nation's top positional players — Brayden Martin checked in at No. 18 among third basemen, David Mendez earned the No. 42 spot at second base, and fellow middle infielder Ty Kaunas cracked the top 50 at No. 47 among shortstops!

🔼 Top Terp! Maryland women’s lacrosse’s Keeley Block has been named the Solomon Eye Terp of the Week!

Block scored a game-high four goals in lifting the No. 3 Terps to an 11-8 win over Rutgers in the NCAA Second Round. Maryland will host No. 6 Navy on Thursday in the NCAA Quarterfinals. Block logged her 49th-career multi-point game and her 38th multi-goal game.

🔼 Dual-Sport Dominance! Megan Kelly Walter is the latest NCAA Division 1 Athlete to win two National Championships in the same year for two different sports.

In the Spring of 1999, she won a National Championship with the Women's Lacrosse team. In the Fall of '99, she won again, this time with the Field Hockey team.

When John Brown, the late owner of RJ Bentleys heard about this, he promised Megan that he would hang her jersey's in the bar after she graduated. Now, 26 years later, Megan revisited Bentleys to recap her accomplishment and see her jersey's still hanging among other Maryland legends.
