🔼 Newest Terp. Maryland men’s basketball has secured a commitment from Belmont transfer Ja’Kobie Gillespie!
Gillespie, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 17.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals last season, and was named to the Missouri Valley All-Conference Second Team, All-Defensive Team and Most-Improved Team.
🔼 Top Two Teams. For the second consecutive weekend, Maryland women’s lacrosse will play in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 game!
Last weekend, the then-No. 1 Terps took down No. 2 Michigan, 8-6. Tomorrow, the No. 1 Northwestern Wildcats travel to College Park to take on No. 2 Maryland at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

🔼 Buckeye Battle. No. 9 Maryland men’s lacrosse plays its Big Ten home opener this weekend, welcoming Ohio State tomorrow for a noon contest.
The Terps will celebrate Senior Day against the Buckeyes, with 13 members of the program set to be honored.

🔼 Illini In Town. Maryland softball is back home this weekend, hosting Illinois for a three-game Big Ten series.
The Terps sit right at .500 in conference play at 3-3, dropping two games to No. 22 Penn State last weekend in a series that could have easily gone either way.
The Illini are searching for their first Big Ten win, currently at 0-5 in conference action.
🔼 Home For The Hoosiers. Maryland baseball carries the momentum of its 13-12 walk-off win over UMBC on Wednesday into its weekend series against Indiana at home.
The Hoosiers are 16-14 on the season with just one Big Ten series under their belt, falling in two out of three games to Illinois two weekends ago.
🔼 Ready For Regionals. Maryland gymnastics is in Gainesville, Fla. today to compete in the NCAA Gainesville Regional with a trip to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas on the line.
The GymTerps are in a session with No. 5 seed Utah, No. 12 seed Michigan State and Towson, with the top two teams from the session advancing to Sunday’s Regional Final.
🤸♂️ PREVIEW: Maryland Travels To Gainesville For NCAA Regionals
🔼 Home Court. Maryland women’s tennis has a chance to get back on track this Sunday with Indiana in town for an 11 a.m. match.
The Hoosiers are 6-15 this season, and will be looking to snap an eight-match losing streak this weekend against the Terps.
🔼 Back On Track. Maryland track and field is in Fairfax, Va. this weekend, competing at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational, hosted by George Mason.
The Terps are looking to build on a successful weekend at the Florida Relays, in which several athletes put themselves among the all-time bests in Maryland history in their respective events.
