With the 25th pick in the NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Banks to become the newest member of their franchise, instantly becoming an impact player on a team that played in the NFC Divisional Round last season.
🔼 Finally Some Football. Mike Locksley’s crew is back on the field this weekend, playing the annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday at SECU Stadium at 12:00pm ET.
Admission to the game and parking throughout most of campus is free of charge in conjunction with Maryland Day.
Can’t make it to the game? It will also air on the Big Ten Network and be streamed on the Fox Sports App.
🔼 How ‘Bout 20. The Dirty Terps have a chance to make it 20 Big Ten series wins in a row this weekend at Big Ten-leading Indiana.
Maryland has momentum in mounds going into the Hoosiers series, having scored 113 runs over its last 10 games and going 8-2 in those contests.
At 8-4 in Big Ten play, the Terps sit one game behind the Hoosiers for first place in the conference. Needless to say, this is a big weekend!
🔼 Bounce The Buckeyes. Two-seed Maryland women’s lacrosse plays host to seven-seed Ohio State on Saturday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
A win in the first round would lead to a May 4 matchup between the winner of the Johns Hopkins-Rutgers game on the campus of Ohio State.
A friendly reminder: The Terps toppled the Buckeyes 18-7 just three weeks ago.
🔼 Day And Knight. Postseason play is here for three-seed Maryland men’s lacrosse, as it hosts six-seed Rutgers in the first round of Big Ten Tournament play Saturday at 8:00pm ET.
The last matchup with Rutgers should be fresh in everyone’s mind - a 11-8 Terps win in New Jersey. Should Maryland beat Rutgers again on Saturday, a rematch against Johns Hopkins would come next on May 4.

🐢 ONE BIG THING
Renaldo Nehemiah is a hall of famer! Nehemiah (track and field ‘81) shined as a Terp, winning NCAA titles in the 70m indoors and 110m hurdles outdoors. His wind-aided 12.91 second time in the 110m hurdles still stands as the quickest time by a collegiate athlete under all conditions.
Nehemiah will be enshrined in the Collegiate Track & Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame in Eugene, Oregon on Sept. 14.
