🔼 Only Took Five. Maryland softball made quick work of Towson on Wednesday, winning 11-2 in five innings for its 19th win of the season.

The Terps scored five runs in both the first and second innings to take all the drama out early, and received three RBI from Michaela Jones and a pair from Sydney Lewis. Jaeda McFarland added a home run and a triple.

🔼 Tournament Time. No. 6 seed Maryland women’s tennis kicks off Big Ten Tournament play today with a matchup against No. 11 seed Nebraska at 2 p.m. in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Cornhuskers beat No. 14 seed Indiana, 4-1, yesterday to advance to take on the Terps.

Maryland picked up a 4-3 win over Nebraska in Lincoln back on March 8.

🔼 Great Eight. The Big Ten has announced its women’s lacrosse all-conference teams, and no program has more than Maryland’s eight selections!

🔼 Top Defender. The ballots are in, and Maryland’s Ajax Zappitello is the Big Ten Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year!

In addition to Zappitello, Eric Spanos and Luke Wierman were named All-Big Ten Second Team members.

🔼 In The Blocks. Maryland track and field heads to Philadelphia this weekend, competing at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

The Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since 1895.

🔼 Dancing On The Course. For the second year in a row, Maryland women’s golf has earned a big into the NCAA Regionals!
