🔼 History In The Making. Maryland women’s tennis is peaking at the exact right time, finishing up its regular season over the weekend with home wins over Minnesota and No. 29 Wisconsin, extending its win streak to five matches heading into this week’s Big Ten Tournament.
Sunday’s win over the Badgers, which saw the Terps fall behind 3-0 before coming all the way back, was the program’s first over a top-30 ranked team since 2013.
Maryland’s 6-5 conference record earned it the No. 6 seed at the Big Ten Championships, where the Terps will await the winner of No. 14 seed Indiana and No. 11 seed Nebraska on Thursday.
