🔼 Dominant Dub. No. 4 Maryland women’s lacrosse picked up its fifth top-10 win of the season on Wednesday, taking down No. 8 Johns Hopkins convincingly, 13-8.

The Terps were led offensively by Lauren LaPointe and Kori Edmondson, who both registered hat tricks. For the freshman LaPointe, it was the first of her Maryland career, and for Edmondson, it was her fourth of the season.

🔼 Twin Bill. Maryland softball took part in a rare midweek Big Ten doubleheader on Wednesday, dropping a pair of games at home to Rutgers.

The Terps and Scarlet Knights entered the seventh inning of Game 1 tied at 6-6 before Rutgers scored the game-winning run in the frame.

Game 2 was more lopsided, with Rutgers taking it 9-0.

🔼 Not Enough O. Maryland baseball couldn’t quite pull together enough offense on Wednesday at UMBC, falling 4-2 to the Retrievers.

The Terps struck first thanks to RBI singles from Sam Hojnar and Kevin Keister in the fourth inning, but UMBC answered with three runs in the fifth and another in the eighth.
