📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Rivalry Renewed. No. 4 Maryland women’s lacrosse is away from home today, closing out its road conference slate at No. 8 Johns Hopkins at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
With two Big Ten regular season games remaining, the Terps are tied at the top of the conference with Michigan and Northwestern at 3-1, with Johns Hopkins right behind at 2-1.
🔼 Offensive Night. Maryland baseball and Georgetown took turns putting crooked numbers up on the scoreboard on Tuesday, but in the end the Hoyas got the best of the Terps in a 13-12 win.
The top four hitters in the Maryland lineup — Brayden Martin, Chris Hacopian, Eddie Hacopian and Sam Hojnar — all had multi-hit games. Hojnar was the catalyst with three hits, including two home runs, three runs scored and six RBI.
The Terps are right back at it today, with a 6 p.m. first pitch lined up at UMBC.
🔼 Let’s Play Two. One Maryland softball game just doesn’t feel like quite enough — the Terps are playing a doubleheader at home versus Rutgers today, with Game 1 starting at 4 p.m.
Wednesday’s two-bill is an important one — just one game separates the Terps (4-5) and Scarlet Knights (5-4) in the Big Ten standings with a month remaining in the regular season.
🔼 Good Golf. Maryland women’s golf had a successful week in Texas, with Patricie Mackova picking up her third individual win of her career at the Texas Showdown, while the Terps finished second at the match play event.
After finishing in second place during the stroke play portion of the event, the No. 2 seed Terps beat third-seeded UCF, 4-1, in the semifinals before falling to tournament host SMU, 4-0-1, in the finals.
🔼 Immediate Impact. Maryland men’s golf was led by freshman Yang Kuang at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Charlottesville, Va., shooting a 2-over 215 over three rounds to finish in a tie for 22nd place individually.
As a team, the Terps finished 13th with a score of 876 (282-295-299).

🐢 ONE BIG THING
🔼 One Year Free. After spending four years on the Maryland gymnastics team and graduating in 2017, Sarah Faller began traveling around the U.S. alone in her van.
The open road allows a person to learn a lot about themself — part of what Faller learned was her desire to abstain from alcohol consumption.
This April, which is alcohol awareness month, Faller is celebrating completing an alcohol-free year.
