🔼 B1G Time Matchup! A pair of top-five teams meet in College Park today, as No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse welcomes No. 4 Northwestern to SECU Stadium at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network!

The Wildcats are 9-3 this season with a 3-1 mark in Big Ten play.

🔼 Talkin’ Ball! The Big Ten has announced that the 2026 Big Ten Football Media Days will return to Chicago, with this year's event held from July 28-30 at the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue!

🔼 Weekday Winner! Maryland baseball run-ruled an opponent for the second consecutive day Wednesday, beating Navy in Annapolis, 15-2!

Nate Hawton-Henley crushed a grand slam as one of Maryland's 13 hits as the Terps improved to 15-18 in 2026. David Mendez (3 RBI), Jordan Crosland (2 RBI) and Michael Iannazzo (2 RBI) also had big games.

🔼 Walk It Off! Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Maryland softball’s Zayda Rocke hit a two-run walkoff home run to give the Terps a 5-3 win over Georgetown on Wednesday night!

Gracie Wilson's first-career homer opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning to put Maryland ahead 1-0, and she tied the game in the sixth inning with an RBI groundout.

🔼 Excellence On And Off The Field! Maryland football long snapper Ethan Gough and offensive lineman Isaiah Wright have been named to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society!

Now in its 20th year, the Hampshire Honor Society recognizes college football players from all levels of competition who excel both on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must be a senior or graduate player on track to earn their degree, maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.2, and have been a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2025 season.
