🔼 Good Knight. No. 7 Maryland women’s lacrosse was down 5-4 heading into the fourth quarter against Rutgers on Wednesday, but outscored the Scarlet Knights 4-2 in the final period to pull out an 8-7 win.

Kori Edmondson scored all three of her goals in the fourth quarter comeback, with Jordyn Lipkin joining her with three scores.

🔼 Softball And Studies. Each time Shannon Bustillos took the diamond, she wasn’t just playing to stop runs and stack wins. She was playing for a college education through an athletic scholarship.

For her and many others, an athletic scholarship wasn’t just a way to play the game she loves — it was a gateway to education, a platform for personal growth, and a chance to chase dreams beyond the softball field.

“Maryland changed my life, and it only happened because of my scholarship,” she said.
