🔼 Crazy Eights! Tied at seven in the eighth inning, Maryland's leader in hits — Brayden Martin — delivered a go-ahead single to spark an eight-run inning and lift his Terps to a 15-7 win over Towson on Tuesday night at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium. Maryland trailed 6-1 early, but rallied to claim its fifth win in its last six games. 

The Terps' bullpen was elite on Tuesday. Andrew Koshy threw three scoreless innings before Jake Yeager and Ryan Bailey combined for four innings of one-run ball.

🔼 And The Picks Are In. It was a night they won’t ever forget.

On Tuesday night, Maryland men's lacrosse standouts Will Schaller, Eric Spanos, Leo Johnson, Eric Kolar, and Braden Erksa were all selected in the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League Draft.

With these selections, Maryland now boasts 81 professional outdoor lacrosse draftees, the most of any college lacrosse program.

🔼 Super Soph. Following his performance in the Terps’ 12-2 win over No. 19 Rutgers, sophomore defenseman Peter Laake was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.

Laake anchored the Maryland defense in the dominant victory, as the Terps allowed just two goals—the fewest they have ever surrendered in a Big Ten game and their lowest total since holding Villanova to two in 2015. He also shut down Big Ten leader in points and points per game Colin Kurdyla, holding him scoreless, and added two caused turnovers.

🔼 Battling The Bison. The Maryland Softball team is back at home this evening for its fifth straight home game in the midst of an eight-game homestand.

The Terps welcome local rival, Howard, to town for a 6 pm battle. The Terps are a perfect 10-0 against the Bison in the Maryland Softball Stadium. Since the first match up in 2009, Maryland has outscored Howard 106-11.

🔼 Drive To Five. Junior Emil Riegger of the Maryland men's golf team picked up his fifth top-10 finish of the year to lead the Terps at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial event at the Birdwood Golf Course. 

Riegger tied for 10th individually with a score of 208 (67-71-70), which was -5. Riegger made 10 birdies and parred or birdied 49 of the 54 holes in the event.

🔼 A Lasting Legacy. Last week, Maryland Made officially launched its first-ever Mentor Mixer during a top-five women’s lacrosse matchup between Maryland and Northwestern in the Terps’ home finale. The event brought together 12 dedicated mentors and 15 student-athletes for an evening centered on connection, growth, and opportunity.
