🔼 No. 1 vs. No. 2. It doesn’t get any better than this — No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse travels to Ann Arbor tomorrow to take on No. 2 Michigan at 12:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network!
The Wolverines are a perfect 11-0, with ranked wins over Denver, USC, Colorado and Penn.
🔼 Wolverine Weekend. Maryland baseball heads west this weekend for its Big Ten road opener, a three-game series at Michigan starting today at 4 p.m.
The Wolverines are 9-16 on the season, but won their Big Ten-opening series last weekend against Penn State.
Maryland will look to extend one of the most impressive streaks in the country this weekend — the Terps have won 23 consecutive Big Ten series dating back to April 2021.
🔼 B1G Road Test. No. 12 Maryland men’s lacrosse has an opportunity for a marquee win this weekend, traveling to University Park, Pa. to take on No. 4 Penn State at 7 p.m. on Sunday on the Big Ten Network.
The Nittany Lions are 7-1 and in the midst of a seven-game win streak, their one loss a 13-12 defeat to Colgate in their season opener.
🔼 In The Lion’s Den. Maryland softball also takes a trip to Penn State this weekend, playing a three-game set against the Nittany Lions starting today at 5 p.m.
Penn State is 24-6 on the season and is riding a nine-game win streak, including a sweep of Indiana last weekend to open its conference slate.
The Terps won their Big Ten opener last weekend, taking two-of-three at home against Minnesota.
🔼 Top-50 Team. After moving into the top-50 of the ITA team rankings this week, No. 49 Maryland women’s tennis has a chance to gain even more momentum as it travels to Columbus, Ohio today to take on No. 12 Ohio State.
After their match with the Buckeyes today, the Terps will join men’s lacrosse and softball in traveling to University Park to take on Penn State.
🔼 Sunshine Run. Maryland track and field will send a group down to Florida this weekend to compete at the Florida Relays in Gainesville.
The Terps have started their outdoor season strong, collecting 14 individual victories last weekend at the Maryland Invitational.
