🔼 Win Streak Grows. No. 2 Maryland women’s lacrosse took a 7-4 lead into halftime against Georgetown on Wednesday and used a 6-1 advantage in the third quarter to pull away, eventually winning 13-7 to extend its win streak to five games.

Hannah Leubecker scored five of Maryland’s 13 goals, and Kori Edmondson added a hat trick of her own.

🔼 On The Mat. Five members of the Maryland wrestling program are in Kansas City this weekend for the NCAA Championships.

Braxton Brown (No. 17 seed — 133 pounds), Kal Miller (No. 32 seed — 141 pounds), Ethen Miller (No. 12 seed — 149 pounds), Jaxon Smith (No. 11 seed — 197 pounds), and Seth Nevills (No. 30 seed — heavyweight) will all be competing.

🔼 Tamed The Tigers. No. 58 Maryland women’s tennis went on the road Wednesday and took down No. 44 Princeton, 4-3.

The Terps earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead, and singles wins from Minorka Miranda, Kallista Liu and Francesca Feodorov clinched the win.

🔼 Terp Trio. Postseason honors for Big Ten women’s gymnastics were announced on Wednesday, and Alexa Rothenbuescher, Madeline Komoroski and Natalie Martin were all named to the All-Big Ten Second Team!

🔼 Claps For The Classroom. The Big Ten Conference announced its Winter Academic All-Big Ten honorees on Wednesday, and 31 Maryland student-athletes made the list!

🔼 Triumphant Return. It had been 75 years since Daniel Framm wrestled at Maryland when he returned to College Park for the 2024 Big Ten Wrestling Championships earlier this month.

All these years later, he is still appreciative of the scholarship that made it all possible.
