🔼 Let’s Dance. For the 14th consecutive season, Maryland women’s basketball has earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament!

The Terps are the No. 10 seed in the Portland 4 Region, and will take on No. 7 seed Iowa State in the First Round on Friday in Palo Alto, California.

🔼 Off To A Good Start. No. 3 Maryland women’s lacrosse kicked off Big Ten action with a 12-6 win over Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus.

The Terps held the Buckeyes scoreless for the entire first quarter, and hat tricks from Kori Edmondson and Hannah Leubecker did the heavy lifting on the offensive end.

🔼 Hot At Home. Maryland softball flexed its muscle at home this weekend, going 4-1 against a field of Bryant, Purdue Fort Wayne, Lafayette and Fairfield at the Maryland Softball Tournament.

The Terps outscored their opponents by 22 runs over five games.

🔼 Winners Out West. After dropping a close game to Portland to open its series on the West Coast, Maryland baseball won the final two games of the weekend to claim the series against the Pilots.

Chris Hacopian and Sam Hojnar both hit home runs in Sunday’s rubber match.

🔼 All-Timers. On Day 1 of the UCF Black and Gold Invitational, Morgan Graham (women’s discus) and Mekhi Abbott (men’s javelin) put themselves in the top-five all-time in program history in their respective events.

And on Day 2, Kami Joi Hickson improved on her sixth-best mark in school history in the women’s 800m, and Andrew Harmon jumped up to No. 4 in the Maryland record books in the men’s hammer throw.

🔼 Postseason Next. In its final regular season competition before this upcoming weekend’s Big Ten Championship, Maryland gymnastics finished second at the Kidney Care Women’s Gymnastics Championships with a score of 196.725.

🔼 Came Up Short. No. 5 Maryland men’s lacrosse fell to No. 4 Virginia at SECU Stadium on Saturday, 14-10.

The Terps put together an impressive comeback, climbing back from a four-goal deficit in the first half to get within one of the Cavaliers, but the equalizer never came.

Eric Spanos scored four points for Maryland on two goals and two assists, while Eric Malever and Ryan Siracusa joined him with two goals apiece.

🔼 On The Road. Maryland women’s tennis made its way west to the state of Illinois this past weekend, losing matches to Illinois on Friday and Northwestern on Sunday.

Kallista Liu earned a singles victory for the Terps against the Illini, while Diya Challa grabbed a win against the Wildcats.
