It's the biggest game day of the year! Today is Giving Day — and it’s time for the home crowd to show up. Make your gift now and help us reach 1,000 donors. For every 100 who give, Barry P. Gossett Director of Athletics Jim Smith will add $1,000 to power Maryland Athletics to victory.

🔼 Last Trip! Maryland men’s basketball hits the road today for the final time during the regular season, visiting Wisconsin at 8 p.m. on FS1!
The Badgers are 20-9 overall this season and 12-6 in Big Ten play.
🔼 B1G Performers! The Big Ten announced its women’s basketball postseason selections on Tuesday, with three Terps honored!
Oluchi Okananwa was named to the All-Big Ten First Team by the league’s head coaches and media. Yarden Garzon was named to the Third Team by the coaches and Honorable Mention by the media. Addi Mack was named to the All-Freshman Team by both groups, and Saylor Poffenbarger earned a Sportsmanship Award.

🔼 It’s (Finally) Game Day! After inclement weather pushed Maryland baseball versus Delaware back a day, the Terps and Blue Hens will take the field at 4 p.m. today in Newark!

🔼 Midweek Face-Off. No. 3 Maryland women’s lacrosse travels to Hampstead, N.Y. today for a 3 p.m. game at Hofstra!
The Terps enter their third road trip of the season with a 5-0 record. Maryland opened the year with three ranked wins over No. 13 Syracuse, No. 12 Virginia and No. 14 Princeton.
🔼 Weather Woes. The Maryland softball game against Delaware on March 4 has been canceled due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for March 10, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
🔼 Parked In Terpsville. Maryland football has added Jayvon Parker to the roster for the 2026 season!
A 6-foot-3, 330-pound redshirt senior from Detroit, Parker brings valuable experience in the trenches after appearing in 26 career games over four seasons at Washington.
🔼 Building Her Legacy! Maryland women’s soccer goalkeeper Faith Luckey gained invaluable life skills in a four-day workshop in Indianapolis!

🔼 Happy Maryland Giving Day! The Maryland Terrapins community will come together today for the University of Maryland's annual Giving Day — a 24-hour fundraising effort designed to support student-athletes, sport programs, and key priorities across the department.
Giving Day provides fans, alumni, families, and friends the opportunity to invest in the areas of Maryland Athletics that matter most to them. Supporters can direct their gift to a specific sport program, unrestricted funds that provide flexible spending, Fearless Women Fund, facilities initiatives, or other impact and endowment funds that strengthen the department's foundation and elevate the success of all 20 programs.
